For those looking to get out on their own it is a cheap $20,000 rupiah (~$1) boat ride to Nusa Lembongan. The ferry leaves from Sanur at 9:00am and 2:30pm each day. There are also speedboats that leave from the mainland or other islands in Bali and stop in Nusa Lembongan along the way.
Where Is Devil’s Tears Nusa Lembongan?
To get to Devil’s Tears follow the main road along Nusa Lembongan until you see Dream Beach and a few restaurants on your left. The quickest way there is to turn right at the second set of shops, look out for the Happy Snapper Restaurant. You’ll then just follow the road until you come to a cross roads, turn right, and then you’ll see Devil’s Tears on your left hand side.

Sunset here when it is small or no swell is always amazing, and they have these beautiful pools that form at the bottom of the cliffs where you can swim into. A ton of fun in general and relatively easy to get too as long as there isn’t a big swell in.

If you are looking for the best area to stay on Nusa Lembongan, we recommend staying in both of these areas as they are a short scooter ride away from each other and have local restaurants close by. If you would prefer to be near Dream beach or Tamarind beach your only option really is to stay in Coconut Beach at the far north end of Nusa Lembongan.
Nusa Lembongan is full of beautiful white sandy beaches and golden sands. You will be on an island so of course there will be coral reefs surrounding you, and the sea will have a transparent colour with lots of fish swimming around. There are no clouds to block the sun or the view, so you can always see where you are going from the top of a hill. Where to stay on Lembongan? The area around Jungut Batu beach, Mushroom Bay and Sandy Bay seem to be the most popular areas to stay in Nusa Lembongan.
