There are plenty of places to stay on this top Thai island, but hands down the village beach resort is one of the best and most popular. If you wondering if Phi Phi is worth visiting, I would highly recommend this island that has both luxury and cheap hotels. So whilst staying and doing the best things to do in Phuket it seemed daft not to take the 48km journey to this paradise island and do the Phi Phi island overnight stay. How to get from Tonsai pier to Phi Phi island village beach resort?
When you arrive at Tonsai pier you can arrange for a member of the Phi Phi village resort to take you from the Tonsai pier to the Phi Phi village beach resort. You will be taken there on a traditional long-tail boat.
The journey takes around 25-minutes to reach this amazing honeymoon accommodation on Phi Phi.

Only guests on this accommodation are allowed to use the beach. The stunning pool is surrounded by giant bean bags that you can chill out on and watch the world go-by.
Some hotels on Phi Phi don’t have great showers, however these bungalows come with hot powerful showers. Happy days.
The village beach resort on Phi Phi has a Thai restaurant for guests and also does amazing breakfast. The staff are also very friendly and the manager usually comes out to introduce themselves, this is a nice touch.

How to get to the Ko Phi Phi island?
If you are looking to travel to the Phi Phi island, you will be happy to know that it is pretty. From Krabi and Phuket to Phi Phi it is only around 40+ kilometres.
How do you get to Phi Phi Island?
Your 2 ways of getting to Phi Phi. The ferries and speedboats. We used the ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi, it’s a nice boat ride and a good chance to meet other travellers along the way. The ferry to Phi Phi took around 80 minutes, but the time so goes and there are drinks and food available on-board.
he main departure/arrival port in Phuket is Rassada Pier, located in Phuket Town. Here you can get the ferry to Phi Phi. Make sure to get a seat on the open-top cruise.

Laemthong beach is on the quieter northeast side of Koh Phi Phi Don. This is a cool area for a relaxing. Therefore, I wouldn’t really visit here as a backpacker looking to rave the night away! Perfect for a 1 or 2-night stay on Phi Phi.
The Phi Phi Natural Resort does packages with transfers by boat from Phuket and it also includes a snorkelling tour. This accommodation on Phi Phi is perfect for those looking for a luxury stay on this top Thai island. On your second day, you can take a classic Thai longtail boat around the Phi Phi islands or to Ton Sai Bay.
The sweet Phi Phi Natural Resort has luxurious cottages available that have good-sized separate bedrooms and private terraces. You will also have a nice view of the sea from Phi Phi’s Natural Resort.
