Adventures in Southeast Asia and Australia and so many things to do
Backpacking Southeast Asia and Australia top 9 travel experiences has got to include adventures. From climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge to quad biking in Bali there are some some truly epic experiences. Some a little scarier than others, but you’ve got to make the most of your backpacking adventure. Obviously, these excursions will add to a backpackers budget, but, that’s what we save for right?!
In Southeast Asia and Australia you are going to meet people you will remember forever
Meeting new people from around the world has its own special place on the backpacking Southeast Asia and Australia top 9 travel experiences. Looking forward to meeting new people from around the world is very exciting! I look forward to meeting Philippine’s locals and Australia’s surfing, wave lovers.
I think a big one with this is possibly learning a new language whilst travelling, I know I have started to learn Thai and can’t wait to test out what I have learned.
Diversity in Southeast Asia and Australia
“Diversity is a reality created by individuals and groups from a broad spectrum of demographic and philosophical differences. It is extremely important to support and protect diversity because by valuing individuals and groups free from prejudice, and by fostering a climate where equity and mutual respect are intrinsic.”
Backpacking Southeast Asia and Australia top 9 travel experiences rates this one very high for backpackers. isn’t that one of the true aims of travelling new exotic locations to see the diversity in cultures? Backpacking would not be anything as exciting if there wasn’t diversity.
Ever thought about starting a travel blog and travelling the world?
The food in Southeast Asia and Australia
Foodie alert! I love different foods and hope you do too. Are you excited to taste the coconuts of Thailand or the Australian delicacy. It’s exciting knowing there are different foods to look forward to every country. Hope you’re open-minded with food, if not there will always be noodles and chicken, everyone loves chicken.
Markets/Bargains in Southeast Asia and Australia
Where ever I go, I love to visit the markets. I can’t wait to visit the floating markets of Thailand. Markets are usually filled with local goods, foods and the most random items you can find.
One TOP TIP for market shops is, never accept the first price offered to you. I can be quite cheeky and I will barter and barter till I get the lowest price available. You need to do the same, they expect it from you. The market store holders will usually start prices high expecting you to barter down. So, be cheeky as they expect it.
Rooms in Southeast Asia and Australia
Ahh the rooms, exciting times. The other day just booked a room in Bali overlooking the sea, £15 for 3 nights including breakfast. The room looks amazing. You may experience big rooms, dirty rooms or stunning rooms, but, it is all part of the journey. I always look forward to opening a door to a new room and collapsing on the bed.
I like looking on Booking.com and just pricing up rooms to find amazing bargains and get excited for the next trip.
Cocktails in Southeast Asia and Australia
Cocktails, YES! this a cheeky one on the backpacking Southeast Asia and Australia top 10 bucket list. There is nothing wrong with a cocktail under the red sky, as the sun drops onto the sea, in the distance. I remember the Mojitos in Thailand, they are not the average you get locally. They are strong, tasty and a fraction of the price of what you may be used to paying.
Obviously drinking can damage your backpacking funds and I myself am not a BIG drinker. But, one here and there won’t harm and will make them summer nights that little much cooler.
I look forward to this, do you?
