Ubud Village Hotel
We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon and had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the temples and markets of Ubud, and just up the road from the Monkey Forest. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and the service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. Thank you so much and we hope to return someday soon

Villa Rumah Dadong
This four-star villa is decorated to detail, offers everything a person could want and its average price is $90 a night with exquisite Asian breakfast included. It has the most complete service; Laundry, ironing, daily cleaning, complimentary coffee or tea, airport shuttle, and massage service among other surprises.

Villa Pondok Buda Merta
Located in the Penestanan area, it is a charming three-star villa, with a beautiful decoration. It is equipped with all those things that are essential for the comfort of its guests. This fantastic villa is located 15 minutes from the Monkey Forest and 30 from the traditional market. It has daily cleaning of rooms, laundry, and the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, hot tub, refrigerator, microwave, cleaning products, safe, plasma cable and satellite TV, telephone, among many other things such as a large pool surrounded by nature and also with a playroom with games, books, and DVD for children.
There are different accommodations with a different number of rooms. The prices of these accommodations vary depending on the number of rooms, but the average price is around £ 70 per night.
It is a spectacular resort that is further from the center, 3 kilometers from the traditional market and also from the Royal Palace, that is why the hotel offers free shuttle service to the center of Ubud to its guests. The decoration features solid wood furniture and Indonesian architecture with bamboo and straw pergolas that will make you feel in paradise. It has a lot of details such as a bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, bathtub, and free shower items.
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have views of the pool and rice paddies. The pool area also has a terrace and solarium and massage beds and spa. River Sakti Ubud resort
A four-star hotel, which offers various options to relax, have fun or rest. Located less than 3 kilometres from the centre of Ubud for an average price of around $75 per night including breakfast. To be a fairly central hotel it has great views of the rice fields. The rooms are equipped with all kinds of details; hairdryers, bathtubs, totally free toiletries, air conditioning, plasma, cable and satellite television, telephone, slippers, etc. The rooms overlook the pool, the garden and the river that passes next to the hotel.
The hotel has a restaurant. This restaurant adopts different styles, it can be a family restaurant as well as a romantic one. The restaurant has a buffet, and a children’s menu, among other options.
The Sungu resort & spa
This four-star resort is one of the most luxurious resorts in Ubud and its price is from $100. It is decorated with beige and marble tones and combined with very elegant elements of Balinese architecture. Located no more than 2 kilometres from the Monkey Forest, in this resort, you will find everything you need to enjoy the most absolute tranquillity. The bathrooms are of adequate size and are perfectly equipped. The rooms are very spacious, with beautiful views and also have a minibar and a coffee or tea set.
It has a large number of services: babysitting, room service, car rental, alarm clock, mosquito net, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and tourist service among others. In the surroundings, there is a beautiful swimming pool, solarium, terrace, and a spectacular Balinese style garden, with numerous sculptures. The resort itself provides towels and umbrellas. In addition to the pool, they also offer massages, spas and have a wellness centre. In the same resort, there is an art gallery where local artists deposit their works for tourists to enjoy. This magnificent complex houses a large restaurant inside. Niang Resto, which is open 24 hours a day and in which all kinds of Indonesian and Western food are cooked.
It is a nice hostel located very close to the Monkey Forest. You can visit the most important tourist attractions on foot. In this case, this hostel has 5 rooms, some private and others shared, so the price varies depending on one or the other. The fare is about $15 approximately. You have the option of using shared or private bathrooms depending on the type of room. Some rooms have a kitchen and terrace and the place has a pool and garden to enjoy. It also has a restaurant with Ã la carte food and various activities such as hiking, fishing and cycling are organized. In this case, breakfast is included.
Jero di bisna hostel
A one-star hostel in Ubud that has private and shared rooms, although with a shared bathroom. Its price is around $10 per night with breakfast included. It is located in the centre of Ubud, so everything you want to see you will have a few minute’s walks. It is a fairly simple hostel, but still has air conditioning and has room service, lockers, and laundry. It has a children’s play area and also bicycle rental.

Kailash Homestay Ubud
Beautiful Balinese architecture surrounded by nature and temples. This homestay has a very good value for money since it has everything you need to enjoy a few days. Its price is around $20 per night. Indonesian breakfast is included in the price. Despite being a very central hotel, there is great tranquillity, perfect for resting after a hard day of visits.
It is located in the heart of Ubud, which is 200 meters from the Ubud Market and the Royal Palace. This place has very complete rooms with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, fan, terrace, garden views, wardrobe, bathroom, etc. In the same area the hotel, you can find numerous cafes and restaurants where you can eat.
Suryadina guest house
This budget accommodation in Ubud is surrounded by large green areas and tropical plants that will brighten your morning. It is one of the most requested sites due to its great value and location in the heart of Ubud. The price is $25 a night with a rich Indonesian breakfast included.
The rooms are equipped with everything necessary to offer a good rest. They feature mosquito nets, air conditioning and a terrace overlooking a huge garden. This establishment also offers the possibility of renting a motorcycle to tour Ubud faster. The rooms have a sofa, wardrobes, shelves, terrace overlooking the garden, Wi-Fi, room service, bathroom, etc. Due to its central location, you can find numerous restaurants and cafes of all styles and prices very close.
Gerhana sari 2 bungalows
This homestay costs around $26 a night. The price includes an enviable breakfast from any large hotel. It is one of the homestays with better value for money-location. Its location is perfect, the most important tourist spots such as the Royal Palace, the traditional market or the Monkey Forest are less than a kilometre away, so you can travel on foot throughout Ubud. There are 6 rooms and they have everything you need: a fridge, clothesline, closet, shelf, and desk.
The rooms also have private balconies and terraces where you can have breakfast every morning. Wi-Fi is free in all its facilities. On the terrace, there is always a thermos, coffee, and tea. It has its bathroom with hot water and a shower. In the centre of the homestay, there is a beautiful garden where you can hang out while enjoying its views, besides, the staff is very nice. They are responsible for serving breakfast, receiving you and helping you with everything you need.
Stay in Ubud city centre or outside?
There is no reason for you to stay in the centre of Ubud. Or as some would call it, Downtown Ubud. In the Ubud city centre, you will find a lot of hotels, restaurants, shops. However, the attraction of Ubud is the overall culture: music and dance, material culture like religious traditions, temples, history, and the Balinese people.
So it’s up to the experience you want whilst staying in Ubud. If you want a unique experience, you could stay outside of the Ubud city centre.
