The 53 Tip Essential Backpacking Checklist

My backpacking checklist is a travel guide, which can be used for backpacking Southeast Asia or hotter climates.
Electrical
- Laptop – Also the case
- Camera – With case
- Phone – With the charger
- Bluetooth tripod camera kit – This also has the bluetooth remote
- Bluetooth selfie stick – Another bluetooth remote
- Shaver – With a small charger
- Camera Lenses – (goes with an electrical)
- Two sets of earphones – Can’t go with out these
Clothes
- 8 sets of underwear – Just mens tight ones
- 10 pairs of socks – Nothing special
- 6 T-shirts – Relax fit and a training top for them days of running
- 7 Vests – Summer relaxed vests
- 6 sets of shorts – Cargo, swim and a training pair
- 1 x training pants – For those chilly nights and for training
- 1 x jeans – Again for chilly nights
- Boat shoes – Nice, light and comfortable
- Running trainers – For walking and running in comfort
- Vans – everyone needs a pair of vans for travelling
- Hoodie – Priceless on chilly nights
- Maybe a light jacket
Bathroom stuff
- Shower gel – Cheap nothing special
- Shampoo – Again an essential but nothing expensive
- Dry Shampoo – Probably more for the ladies this one
- Razors – We all need to shave
- Soap – Inexpensive way of washing
- Shaving Foam – Needed for smooth shaves
- Tweezers – More for the ladies or even the men
- Nail Kit – Always look after your nails
- Sun cream – You do not wan to get sunburn
- After sun – For in case you do get burned or you just need to attend to your dry skin
- Deodorant – Keep fresh
- Aftershave – Smell good if you go somewhere a little nicer than the street market for food
- Perfume – See above
Essentials
- Passport – I think this one is obvious 🙂
- Bank card – Money is needed for travel
- National insurance card – Just in case
- Money – You need some physical money in your pocket
Medical
- Plasters – For any cuts you might get
- Ibuprofen – Great for bringing down inflammation
- Paracetamol – Priceless for those headaches
- Imodium – Again priceless, for diarrhoea
- Hay-fever tablets – Fight that pollen
- Re-hydration tablets – it’s easy to get dehydrated in the sun
- Burn Dressings – You never know
Nutrition
- Fruit – Stay healthy
- Sweets – For the plane journeys
Others
- Book – Learn, pass time or just enjoy a read
- Magazine – See what’s happening with the goss
- Plane Pillow – I need these to sleep, do you?
- Ipod – I need music
- Water Bottle – Stay hydrated
- Mosquito net – This will be a life saver
- Mosquito spray – Priceless
