Best thing to do is to hire a scooter and do the 20-30 minute drive to Kuta from Melia. There’s plenty of things to do in Kuta! Or, if you don’t feel safe on a scooter, you could always get a taxi for under $15.
You can also visit the famous Uluwatu Temple, however, this is a long drive! You will need to get a taxi for roughly 50 minutes. And, it may take around 1 hour on a scooter.
It’s a 20-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, and Ubud is about an hour away.
