The 20 Best CHSE Hotels In Bali Selected For You

You’ve heard about the CHSE Certification. You know it’s a thing, and you’re kind of curious. But what does it mean?

Well, let’s just say that if you’re planning a trip to Bali and you want to be sure that the hotels you stay in are up to snuff, having this certification is worth your time.

CHSE stands for Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability Certification.

It means that your chosen hotel has met the highest safety and hygiene standards so that you can relax and enjoy your time here without worrying about anything other than having fun.

That’s why choosing a hotel that has passed CHSE Certification is so important.

When you book with 1 of these hotels, you can rest assured that everything will be taken care of for you, which means all your worries about safety and hygiene go away.

1. COMO Uma Canggu

Como Uma Canggu

Location: Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

COMO Uma Canggu is where you can let loose, relax, and get up and do things with your time there.

It’s not just about sitting around on the beach or doing nothing. There are activities for every person, from adrenaline junkies to those who prefer to sit back and enjoy the scenery.

The moment you walk into the lobby of COMO Uluwatu, you know this place is special. The hotel sits on Bali’s southern coast, overlooking the ocean and some of the island’s best surf breaks.

You will love the seafood restaurant at the beach-style bar because of how the fresh seafood is cooked on a wood-fired grill right in front of you. It’s a great way to experience eating healthy while still having a great time.

The facilities are top-notch, too. There’s a rooftop pool on each side of the hotel, so you don’t have to choose between sunbathing and swimming. And if the ocean views aren’t enough for you, there are also incredible views from the rooms overlooking the ocean.

But what makes this hotel great? Well, it’s the people who work here. They make you feel comfortable and advise you where and what to see when visiting Bali. So if you’re not satisfied with anything, make sure you’ll let the staff know.

They also partnered with Tropicsurf, which offers surfing lessons for guests of all abilities.

If you want to explore inland, Como provides a range of excursions. So feel free to visit Bali’s iconic sea temples to trek across rice fields and traditional villages.

It’s an experience that you will never forget. It’s a colonial-style resort located on Lebih beach in Gianyar, just a 5-minute drive from the Bali Safari and Marine Park and 25 minutes from Sanur.

The local culture is so vibrant, and the people are so friendly. You can visit the famous shopping markets of Sukawati and just a 30-minute drive from the historic centre of Ubud.

Sometimes when travelling, you want to be close to the action. You want to be able to get out and explore, but you also want a place that feels like home.

If you’re looking for “the best of both worlds” hotel, look no further than FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Resort.

It’s one of the best value hotels being an all-suite resort with direct beachfront access.

Surrounded by trendy retail shopping, this Legian beachfront resort offers you a relaxing getaway from the crowds.

If you want to get the most out of your stay at the FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Resort, I recommend the bedroom suites. These rooms are spacious, have 2 separate toilets, and offer all the comforts of home.

The room itself was beautiful. Everything was clean and well-maintained, but it didn’t feel stuffy or overdone like some other hotels can be. The bed was comfortable and soft. It feels like sleeping on clouds.

11. Pullman Bali Legian Beach

Pullman Bali

Location: Jl. Melasti 1, Legian 80361 Indonesia
Starting Rate: $95/night

If you’re looking for a hotel that’s just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside, check out Pullman Bali Legian Beach.

A 6-minute walk from Kuta Beach, this upscale hotel is 5 km from the waterslides at Waterbom Bali and 15 km from the Garuda Wisnu Kencana art and culture park.

I love that Pullman Bali Legian Beach is home to an infinity pool and a Deli restaurant. You can indulge in delicious food while soaking up some sun at this gorgeous hotel.

When you’re ready to wind down from your day of exploring, head to Tjakra7 Spa and soak in their iconic hydrotherapy pool for a relaxing end to your evening.

The hotel was close enough to Discovery Mall and Kuta Art Market that we could just leave the hotel and walk there in 20 minutes. That meant it was easy to get around if you didn’t have a car.

12. Amankila Hotel

Amankila

Location: Manggis 80871 Indonesia
Starting Rate: $804/night

Amankila strikes a perfect balance between the peace and quiet of faraway places and the convenience of being near everything.

I love this gorgeous hotel. It’s located on a lush hillside near Mount Agung and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

If you’re looking for a place with a view, there is no better way to get it than from up in the trees. The property has 3 tiers of suites, and you’ll be able to choose from the stilted, walkable ones at the front of the property or one of the 5-story tree-top suites.

Either way, you’ll have a spectacular view of the mountain and ocean below and I think the views are worth its price.

Amankila is also conveniently located close to downtown Lombok’s main attractions: shopping, foodie experiences, and nightlife.

I love that there are so many ways to get around in this town. Whether you want to walk, ride a bike, or throw your money at a cab driver, there’s something for everyone.

Another thing I love about Amankila? Their Beach Club is right next door. This beach has black sand with an infinity pool so deep that it goes through three levels and down into another building.

You might want to have a private dinner by the beach and take a morning cruise during your stay. The trip is well worth its price tag.

And if you’re feeling adventurous, head out on an excursion through some rice paddies, where there are plenty of opportunities for hiking or biking around scenic villages.

Ayodia Resort

Location: Jalan Pantai Mengiat, Nusa Dua 80363 Indonesia
Starting Rate: $149/night

There are so many amazing beaches, restaurants, and shops in Bali and I’m not just talking about Nusa Dua Beach and Waterblow.

There are so many places to go that it can be hard to decide where to start.

But when you stay at Ayodya Resort Bali, you don’t have to worry about making that decision. That’s because this 5-star resort is within a 10-minute drive of all the best spots in town.

One of the things that struck me most about this hotel is how well it’s thought out. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but not so big that they feel empty or impersonal.

But what really stands out about this hotel is its commitment to providing you with an unparalleled experience that no other hotel can match. That’s why I recommend asking for a room on an upper floor overlooking either the pool or the sea, it’s truly stunning.

And if you want to have a unique experience, you could try traditional dancing in the open-air theatre or head to the modern gymnasium to get a workout.

Then head over to Ayodya Spa by Mandara for relaxing treatments or you can stay at the pools lined with inviting sunbeds.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can find extensive menus in 5 signature restaurants with something on offer for every palate.

If you decide to leave the grounds, take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service that will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the property.

You can visit one of the best golf courses in Bali, like the Bali National Golf Club.

After enjoying Bali National Golf Club or Puja Mandala, unwind with a drink at 1 of 2 bars/lounges or 2 poolside bars, or head back upstairs for 24-hour room service.

If you wanted to go somewhere that was close to Uluwatu Temple and Garuda Wisnu Kencana, but also not too far from the airport, Melia Bali would be a good choice.

It’s only 12 kilometres from the airport, and it’s close to both of those attractions.

I always knew that this 5-star resort was home to some of the most luxurious amenities on the island, but I didn’t expect it to also be home to some of the most beautiful gardens.

The Meliá Bali’s gardens are filled with tropical plants and flowers that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world.

It’s not just a place where you get to enjoy all the privileges of a 5-star resort, but also one that gives you access to outstanding facilities among gardens and pools.

I love the lagoon-style pool at Melia Bali. The water is clear, and it’s easy to find a spot. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, too.

The YHI Spa is amazing. It has everything from a sauna to a jacuzzi and steam room, as well as treatment rooms with massage tables.

The resort has 149 rooms, including 12 suites and 22 villas, each unique and offering views of the surrounding area.

You can learn about Balinese culture and history while relaxing in the lush landscape and beautiful ocean views.

And if you’re looking for someplace to meet with friends or colleagues? They have 4 boutique-style meeting rooms ready for your next business meeting or event.

But that’s not all. There are plenty of other things to do at Andaz Bali.

There’s a Shankha Spa & Wellness centre on-site, with treatments ranging from traditional massages to facials and body treatments designed specifically for your skin type.

There are also 3 swimming pools to lounge by and direct beach access for those who want to soak up some sun.

This place is fantastic for kids. Not only do they have an incredible kids club where your child will have tons of fun playing games and getting creative while they make new friends.

19. Soori Bali

Soori Residence

Location: Banjar Dukuh, Desa Kelating Kerambitan, Tabanan 82151 Indonesia
Starting Rate: $1,000/night

The Soori Bali is a luxurious retreat that is different from what you might expect.

It’s a taste of life in Bali’s villages and local culture, with all the comforts you’re used to at home.

The experience at the Soori Bali is not just about being pampered by beautiful surroundings and excellent service. It’s about immersing in a lifestyle that honours simplicity, humility, and gratitude for all life offers.

From the moment you arrive at this resort of villas, you’ll be welcomed like family into their community of friends and staff.

I love the contemporary design of the rooms, which blend well with their natural surroundings. They’re unlike many other hotels in Kerambitan that just stick out like a sore thumb.

So when I saw this hotel on the beach, between Mount Batukaru and the paddy fields, it seemed perfect. And it was.

The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The grounds were beautiful. There are water pools around the property that were landscaped to maximize airflow.

I have to say, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in my life and I can’t think of one that has the same commitment to sustainability and turtle conservation as this one does.

That’s important to me because I want to be able to look back on my life and know that I made an impact on our planet, even if it was just by staying at this one hotel.

I’ve been to a lot of hotels. I like the beaches and the pools, but what I love is being able to take a jet ski out whenever I want.

At Conrad Bali, you can have both. You have access to the white sandy beach, various dining options, and an enormous outdoor pool open 24 hours a day. You can use their jet skis every day during your stay.

Its luxurious rooms overlooking the ocean or garden make it easy to sit back and soak up the sun or rain while you enjoy your stay at this hotel.

If you’re looking for quiet during your stay, request a room that is not beside or in front of the Infinity chapel. The events looked beautiful and well executed.

However, if you are sensitive to noise and loud music, it may be best to avoid this area.

If you’re looking for a place to get pampered and enjoy some time for yourself, check out Jiwa Spa. They offer a variety of massage treatments and beauty therapies at an extra charge but trust me. It’ll be worth every penny.

I love the hotel because it offers guided bicycle tours, yoga lessons and water sports activities at no extra charge if you want to get active during your stay here in Bali.

If you’re looking for something fun to do during your trip away from home without breaking the bank, consider going on one of their free classes.

You can learn local cooking or dance or the Indonesian language.
