3-star hotels provide a good alternative for many travellers due to their convenient cost/quality and accessibility.
In terms of furniture, you can usually expect to have couches, at least one comfortable chair, a desk and a closet, more than enough to use a laptop or just watch some TV with cable packages.
Facilities like free Wi-Fi, fitness centres, pools and breakfast/dining options are mainstream now so you don’t run into any risk.
I’ve ranked 15 hotels based on my personal experience and taste and I can tell you that most of these choices are extremely cheap.

The hotel is conveniently located near several popular restaurants, including Penida Colada and Warung Tu Pande, which serve delicious meals.

You can walk to Kuta Beach or visit Beachwalk, Matahari Kuta Department Store, or Waterbom in just some minutes by foot.

But what makes Quest Hotel Kuta stand out is its location. It’s right across from Joger 24 hours “Krisna Oleh” and “Oleh and Discovery Shopping Mall”, two of the best shopping spots in town.
I went without a car but I can assure you you can find some good parking over there.
