What it is Rhosneigr Beach

Rhosneigr Beach

Rhosneigr beach is a sandy beach found on the western shore of Anglesey. The creamy, soft sands are perfect for building sandcastles and they’re great for digging with buckets and spades. The shoreline is mostly gently sloping, so even if the sea is rough, you’ll find plenty of space to splash around safely.

Hand in hand with the rough oceanic conditions comes one of the most spectacular and photogenic beaches on Anglesey. The shallow waters and vast sand banks make Rhosneigr perfect for families, surfing and land sailing enthusiasts who regularly meet here from all over the world.

There are many accommodations within walking distance of the beach including hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, pubs, cafes and restaurants serving local fish (often caught just offshore!) and farm-fresh organic vegetables.

Jaw-dropping, tranquil beaches, a wide range of waterbased activities and amazing walking routes or cycle rides. Rhosneigr is the ultimate beach break!

Where Is Rhosneigr Beach Located

In a lovely position, Rhosneigr Beach has to be one of Anglesey’s finest. From the beach there are spectacular views of Snowdonia to the north and the unique flat-topped, rather pointed, Llanddwyn Island across the bay. This is one of those classic family beaches with superb yellow sand, backed by dunes and an area of woodland that forms a natural wildlife haven.
